From the Bureau of Adult Detention:
"The Fairfield County Justice Center (FSJ) is in compliance with 100% Essential Standards and at least 90% Important Standards meeting the requirements of a "Compliant Jail".
The duration of the inspection covers multiple days on sight and several weeks of post sight visit review of materials by the Bureau of Adult Detention. The Sheriff's Office and Sheriff Lape are quite pleased with the final result of this exhaustive inspection.
Corrective action has already occurred with the minor issues cited in the "Important Standards" to bring those items to 100% compliance.
