  • -Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, theft, catalytic converter stolen from vehicle, report taken
February 8, 2022
  • -Hill Rd N., Violet Twp., Identity theft, accounts opened in victim’s name, victim filed report
  • -Scenic Dr., Pleasant Twp., Identity theft over the phone, victim was alerted through credit reporting company of an inquiry on his credit, report taken
  • -Walmart, Canal Winchester, petty theft, suspect passed point of sale with the unpaid merchandise, subject had prior offenses and had been trespassed from store. 27 yr. old female, arrested, posted bond, and was released on a summons to Canal Winchester Mayor’s Court.

  • -Millersport-Thurston area, litter complaint, reclining chair laying at the bridge near a guardrail, removed, report taken.
  • -Pleasantville, theft, victim had ordered checks, but never received them, multiple charges were on her account using victims checks. Bank is investigating and report was taken.
  • -Stonecreek Dr., Violet Twp., theft, victim went into a business, returned to find her purse missing, credit cards were cancelled, report taken.

  • -Marietta St., Bremen, theft, stolen construction trailer, report taken.
February 11, 2022
  • -Bowers Rd and Hunter Rd., Amanda, suspicious vehicle call leads to arrest, 46 yr. old male had warrant, arrested, and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • -Meijer, Canal Winchester, merchandise theft, 55 yr. old male, arrested, transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
  • -Winchester Rd., Canal Winchester, grand theft of motor vehicle, vehicle found by Wilson Rd in the area of the bypass of SR 33, vehicle fully engulfed in flames, vehicle impounded and towed.
February 12, 2022
  • -Tarkiln Rd., Berne Twp., suspicious vehicle, 42 yr. old male, arrested for possession of a loaded firearm and suspected drugs. All contraband was seized as evidence. Suspect transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
February 13, 2022
  • -Village of Pleasantville, deputy initiated a traffic stop due to no visible license plate, 35 yr. old male had a warrant out of Perry County, arrested for warrant and drug paraphernalia, and transported to the Fairfield County Jail.
