Deputy Jeff Dixon has retired after a distinguished career of service of more than 25 years. His record of service first begins with the USMC. after honorable discharge, he then began to serve Fairfield County as a Deputy assigned as a dispatcher. Later transferring to the Patrol Bureau where he eventually became a K9 handler. He and his partner, "Rex", became an awesome team. Deputy Dixon also served as a member of the Sheriff’s Office tactical team in the role of sniper. For the past several years serving as an SRO for the Lancaster City and Fairfield Union Schools. He has been a great asset to the Sheriff’s Office. Congratulations Deputy Dixon on your retirement!
