In Fairfield County there are 2-4 Dispatchers on per shift, 24/7, 365! Very rarely does the dispatcher answering your call be the same one that is dispatching help to you, but it can happen on a busier shift. Just think, there are still counties and agencies around us that only have 1 dispatcher on per shift dispatching calls and taking calls on both 9-1-1 and nonemergency lines! It goes to show that it doesn’t matter the number of dispatchers per agency or shift, we will always get help to you as quickly as we can!
