The Sheriff's Office School Resource Deputies, Community Response Unit, Lancaster Parks and Recreation and ODNR, partnered together to hold the 2022 Hooks and Bobbers youth fishing derby at Alley Park. Trophies were awarded for the biggest fish, the most fish caught and the smallest fish caught. A drawing, for additional cool fishing gear, was also held.
The deputies and parks personnel facilitated the event, measuring and tracking the totals. The weather was perfect and brought out laughter and smiles.
This was a great community event for parents and kids alike....see you all next year!
