Over the past two days, the Lancaster Police Department and several adjacent agencies participated in Operation Bridge. Operation Bridge is a progressive / multi-disciplinary approach to the drug epidemic combining enforcement and treatment services. It is supported by the Department of Public Safety and Recovery Ohio.
This innovative response to drug interdiction has proven effective to not only target drug traffickers, but assist those individuals looking for a way out of the addiction lifestyle.
We are proud and humbled to participate in such an impactful approach to this problem. This would not be possible without our partners at South Central Ohio Major Crimes Unit, Project FORT, Ohio Narcotics Intelligence Unit, Recovery Ohio, Ohio Department of Public Safety, Fairfield County Sheriff's Office, Logan Police Department, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
