Overnight, at U.S. 33 / Tarkiln Rd. – Patrol deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for moving violations. Male driver had an active warrant for his arrest. K-9 was deployed and alerted to the vehicle. Deputies seized 147 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 5 grams of heroin and 1 gram of fentanyl.
The suspect was taken to jail. The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office and local law enforcement partners are committed to keeping this poison off our streets!
